Tap Rental Policy

Nittany Beverage is happy to rent you a tap for your keg and a tub to keep it in! Tap rental fee is $5.00 each. A $50* deposit is also required of each tap rented that is paid back to you in cash upon it’s return in good condition. Tub rental fee is $5.00 each. A $15 deposit is also required of each tub rented that is paid back to you in cash upon it’s return in good condition.

Please note! Tap and tub rentals are for short-term use. We expect taps and tubs to be returned in a timely fashion. Any tap that is not returned within 30 days is considered to be a purchase by the renter with no deposit returned to the renter. At that point we cannot accept the tap back. Kegged beer is typically not pasteurized, and we cannot in good faith to the next renter of that tap accept back a tap that may not have been cleaned after use for an extended period of time and may contain bacteria.

*Specialty taps for specific products may be charged a market-price deposit based upon specific equipment needs.
